Low-Risk Pregnancy Follow-Up

A healthy pregnancy requires professional medical care, combining continuous follow-up of maternal health and fetal development, alongside answers to questions and concerns that arise along the way.

The Purpose of the Follow-Up

Pregnancy follow-up involves a comprehensive assessment of the pregnancy according to current recommendations, including monitoring maternal health, fetal growth and development, reviewing lab and imaging tests, tailoring screening and follow-up tests to each stage of pregnancy, and providing personal medical recommendations.

The follow-up allows for early identification of conditions that may develop during pregnancy, treatment when needed, and referral for further evaluation when required. Alongside the medical aspect, emphasis is placed on personal guidance, clear explanations and shared decision-making, so every woman can go through pregnancy with confidence and calm.

The follow-up includes, among other things
01 Ongoing medical assessment of the pregnancy's progress.
02 Monitoring maternal health and pregnancy measurements.
03 Assessing fetal growth, presentation, position and amniotic fluid volume via ultrasound as needed.
04 Reviewing and explaining blood test, screening test and genetic test results.
05 Tailoring the follow-up plan and tests to each stage of pregnancy.
06 Counseling on nutrition, supplements, vaccinations and lifestyle during pregnancy.
07 Preparation for childbirth and planning continued follow-up until the end of pregnancy.

The purpose of the follow-up is to provide professional, up-to-date medical care, tailoring the guidance to the unique needs of each woman and each pregnancy.
